What style of relationship work is this?
Relationship sessions are a synthesis of my experience facilitating Circling practice since 2018, living in a communal household for 4.5 years with 8 people, as well as my studies in Non-Violent Communication and Restorative Justice Circles. As a Feldenkrais practitioner and dancer I always bring in awareness of the body and sensations as a key aspect of relational skill. I also bring my experience of being in a long-term committed relationship.
What people are saying about working with Michelle:
“Michelle is such a being of warmth, light, and safety. It is so evident that her facilitation is being led from her heart. Her willingness to be real and vulnerable creates SUCH a container of safety for connection.” - Camille Thomen-Brown
“I experience Michelle as an incredibly skillful facilitator, a facilitator who supports the unfolding and deepening of experience through sharing her own authenticity. For me, she exudes a nonjudgmental and welcoming presence that invites forward parts of myself that typically hide in groups. Consequently, I felt naturally encouraged to experiment with revealing those often guarded parts and often found that others, too, could welcome them, which could be quite healing.” - JA
“From the first time I met Michelle I felt welcome. I have been doing one-on-one Circling and the results have been amazing.Michelle has a kind and gentle way of showing me how to understand myself.I can't thank her enough for the perspective she has helped me bring into my life.” - Michael Corcoran
“With humorous, kind, and skillful support, Michelle helps us to explore dynamics in our home that can be difficult to notice or communicate on our own. The result is practical and meaningful: more understanding and appreciation for each other, greater self-awareness, and less tension”- S
“Michelle's facilitation is a gift. She's both intuitive and flexible. She creates a safe container for true and safe exploration.”
“Having Michelle work with our house has been a true gift. She is such a skilled facilitator and holds space in a very grounded, caring, and attentive way.”
"Michelle holds such a warm, open, honest space. In this container, the group was able to open to rich, revealing, and transformative processes in every session."
“Michelle’s gift is her warm, peaceful, grounded presence. She is attentive, intuitive, listens deeply, and therefore highly supportive and responsive.” - Deb
